RIDT was focused on community based health activities.  It had conducted General Health Camps, Health Education, Mother and Childcare, Dental camps for school children and Adolescent health programmes.

A Eye camp at Paramananadal Panchayat 150 out patients were tested out of 45 were operated for operated with the Help of Sri Ramanana Maharishi Hostital Thiruvannmalai, a special General health camp was conducted with aegis with Pondycherry instiuite of Medical science and through this camp 250 patients were treated for common aliments.

With the support of Jindal Trust, Manava Jagruthi  Bangalore it conducted Dental camps for the school childern of 8-13 years for 350 childern every three months and created awarenes among the childern on hygenic and dental health.

Awareness programme for the adolectent girls on health and hygenic been organised to impart knowlege on hygenic , HIV/AIDS, Safe Motherhood  and general Health related issues.  We have oranized this training programme in 64 villages in our operational  area,  motivating the adolecent about the awareness  on above mentioned issues.
