Rural Integrated Development Trust is a registered non-profit organization involved   in issues related to rural poor. Started way back in 1997 as an organization   concerned with the issues of Child Labour today it has diversified into various  activities. For the very deprived communities in society on Health, Education, HIV/AIDS, Environment, Child Labour  Women & Child Development activities

RIDT is a non-profit making, non-political, service oriented organization. The  Organisation was duly registered on 04.03.1997 under the Tamil Nadu  Trust Act  Registration Act No.27 of 1975. The registration number is 19 of 1997. The Organization has been afforded charitable status under Sec. 12(A) of the Income Tax Act. RIDT is also registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, to receive foreign contributions under 6(1)(a) of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976.

MISSION  :

To facilitate the rural community for sustainable development through health care, quality education, Eco friendly environment, socio economic development for women for self reliant, safe drinking water and sanitation to create a just society.

Plan for 3 years 

-          To facilitate normal health through health camps and mobile health clinic.

-          To educate the disabled children and child labour children through scholastic needs for education

-          To grow 2.5 lakh trees and undertake water  & soil conservation work.

-          To form 500 SHGs’ and give training to the shg on Income generation program.

-          To create awareness and construct 1000 individual toilets and to maintain water storage tank with proper hygienic ways.

-          To give training to women on entrepreneurship   to assist them for loan for setting up the units.

-          To Care and Support the HIV/AIDS affected people through treatment and nutrition assistance and support the children of PLWA though rehabilitation.

-     To work for Soil and Water conservation under watershed of 1040 Hec.
